Almost The Perfect Game
Our second road trip turned out to be our best game of the season. Besides a 5 minute brain fart the Knights were absolutely fantastic.

As I've told our young men from day one, I could give a rats booty what the scoreboard reads at the end of the game what is most important to the coaching staff is that you give everything you have every shift, try your hardest to win every battle and never give up on your teammates. Because effort is more contagious than the flu. The past few games we have not been doing that instead we've been coasting and going through the motions. But last night was different last night was what happens when every single player plays to their potential. The Coronation Orange are the first place team at Coronation and we turned the Orange crush to crushed oranges (just made that up). The Knights came out flying scoring first with #19 Pazzy slipping a sweet pass to a hard skating#71 Evan who tapped it in through the 5 hole. Our second goal was the perfect example of heart as #28 Luke lost the puck just inside their Blueline but instead of giving up he chased the opposing player down battled hard until he won the puck back to create a breakaway and scored what some may call a fluke but I say a reward for busting his butt winning his battle's and the hockey gods rewarding his never give up effort. It didn't end there as some nifty hands and heads up play by #34 Seba who found #22 Cap open and winding  up so a perfect pass and a hell of a onetimer that he apparently learned from Conner Middleton last weekend made it 3-0 for the good guys. From this point the boys basically controlled every aspect of the game #6 Jack #9 Gavin #87 Tim were awesome in winning their battle's along the boards in our end. #8 Agostino was keeping secrets from the coaches I asked him to play center and didn't realize that's his natural position winning every single faceoff cleanly. #34 Seba decided he wanted to put his mark on the game scoring on a hard snapshot glove side. At this point Coronation had no answers to the pressure we were putting on them. But for some reason we took our foot off the gas and took 2 lazy penalties which caused a goal, if you stop moving your legs you start using your stick and the reffs start using their whistles. Our D got us back in the game led by #29 Aiden who was stellar at both ends#55 Zack and#16 Matt were instrumental in getting us back on track with#4 Grant being solid in front of Andrew. #34 Seba scored his second of the night on again some might say flukie but his hard work and determination caused his attempted pass to Pazzy to slip through the 5 hole.#34 Seba capped off the natural hat trick with a tipped backhand. #1 Andrew played his usual awesome game making the big saves at the right times.
Player of the game
#34 Seba Carswell with his hard work at both ends was a clear decision.
Thank you to Chad" senior soft paws" Mills for stepping in and taking care of the D you might be our good luck charm.
