Registration for the 2017/18 season will open on March 1. Register during the month of March to take advantage of a discount offered during this time only!

Chedoke Minor Hockey is pleased to announce that we have joined with Hockey Canada for our online registrations for the 2017/18 hockey season. This will save you time when registering and ensure that all your information is up-to-date.

We offer a hockey program in five non-contact House League divisions and, where numbers warrant, non-contact Select teams.

Registrations will be accepted as space permits. Registration numbers are regulated by the Hamilton Minor Hockey Council. Parents are encouraged to register early to ensure placement and to assist the league with preparing evaluations, rosters and uniforms.

Players new to Chedoke Minor Hockey must submit a copy of a birth certificate. These should be emailed to [email protected].

Players transferring to Chedoke from another league may be asked to submit a Residential Move Form. Our Registrar will contact you if this is required.

The registration fee for 2017/18 is $415. Online registration is available with payment by credit card.

During March, you are entitled to an early registration discount of $20.

During March and April, families registering online have the choice of paying in full or on a payment plan.

In March, the payment plan consists of a first payment of $95 followed by 3 equal payments of $100 charged to your credit card on the 15th of each following month.

In April, the payment plan consists of a first payment of $215 followed by 2 equal payments of $100 charged to your credit card on the 15th of each following month.

Starting May 1st, full payment of $415 is required and there is no payment plan available.

Year of birth Division

Exceptional players will be identified through an evaluation process and may be offered the opportunity to move up to the Novice Division at one of the Recreational House Leagues. Chedoke Minor Hockey will not accept registrations from players in this age group without the approval of the Initiation Program. More information can be found on the Hamilton Initiation Program web site or by emailing [email protected].

Goalie positions will be shared if registrations exceed the number of teams in a division.

Respect in Sport - Parent Course

One parent/guardian of each player born in 2004 or later must complete this online course. It must be completed before November 1 or we will be unable to roster your player to a team. For more information and the course link, please see the Parents menu option.
