It's official Knights are on a winning streak
Being ridiculously superstitious my whole life when it comes to hockey (I'm still wearing the same underwear from our Coronation win, just keep blaming the dog for the stench 🐺) I'm finding it hard to mention the word streak. But our boy's effort the last 3 games deserves they attention.
An odd week and a different game day could have been a receipt for disaster as the drop of the puck seen the Predators leading scorer and Bantams select top left winger suprise our forward's and D with some speed and shifty moves to break in alone only to be Cheech and Chonged (stoned) or Bonnie and Clyded (robbed) by #1 Andrew. After that the boys seemed to wake up and realize that the game actually started. Again we scored early with what can be described as a textbook give and go with #19 Pazzy passing to #71 Evan who waited for Pazzy to get open and slid a sweet pass to him for the tap in and more importantly early lead. #71 who has been on fire offensively as of late showed his speed to slip through the D and go in on a breakaway and pulled a beauty deke to make 2-0 Knights after 1. The first half of the 2nd was predators trying to break us down with tons of shots but #1 Andrew was having none of it turning away every shot like old man returning soup at a diner. Over confidence or Superbowl bets seemed to distract the boys midway through the 2nd as the predators made it 2-1, but some hard forechecking and a little dipsy doodling reminiscent of Miroslav Frycher (there's a throwback) #34 Seba recovered our 2goal lead. And with just 31/2 minutes left in the 3rd #6 Jack who has been a scoring machine lately notched another with the helpers going to Pazzy and Seba with a 4-1 lead and 31/2 minutes left I was finally able to relax and enjoy our lead.The boys seemed to forget that there's still 31/2 minutes left as the game plan was thrown out the window and chaos insued and the Predators scored 2 quick goals to make it 4-3 and my underwear quite warm, thankfully we woke up and held on for the 3rd straight victory.

#9 Gavin Mills, his timing and hockey sense on the pinch is incredible his dedication to whatever position you put him in is refreshing. Watching Gavin yesterday was truly an eye opener for me cause D is not his natural position but to see soft paws give everything he has and never give up on his teammates no matter what definitely makes this acknowledgement way way overdue.
