Rough welcome back
After an off weekend where Chedoke had it's anual in house tournament which was a great success our Golden Knights seemed to have lost some of the chemistry it was developing. Before I go into the highlights I would like to apologize for my tardiness and would like to thank Chad"Senior Soft Paws" Mills for helping out your assistance was greatly appreciated.
Well we started out a little flat footed but picked it up midway through the first putting pressure on their defense causing some turnovers and bad passes and although we couldn't capitalize on them the opportunities were there. After falling behind 2-0 we seemed to wake up and proceeded to take over the game with #28 Luke setting up #19 Pazzy with a beautiful pass and Pazzy did what he does best buried it to make it 2-1. 2 minutes later #34 Seba put his football skills to work and batted the puck out of the air to himself and went in on a breakaway and made a beauty of a move to tie the game at 2. It stayed that way till the middle of the second when we gave up 1 to go down 3-2 but #24 Cap was brilliant in picking the right time to rush it and went shelf to tie it at 3. From there we went down hill and the effort went with it. We had a good 10 to 12 minutes of hockey where we could of taken that game but decided to take it easy on them and they took the game over. It was hard to watch as we had the only undefeated team on the ropes and we let them off the hook. 1 late 2nd period goal made it 4-3 and 3 3rd period goals caused a 7-3 loss. Although 7 goals were scored there was an absolutely awesome safe that has to be mentioned that glove save by #1 Andrew was jaw dropping. Now at this point I would normally go into individual efforts and praises but for 12 minutes everyone was awesome and played as a unit but 12 minutes out of 30 won't win to many hockey games. I must mention #8 Agostino who took on many rolls and shined in everything he did. I have to say that that was by far the worst game I've ever had to be behind the bench for, not for anything hockey related but one of the guys I don't know who nor do I want to know but someone was dropping some serious bomb's on the bench, it was literally like a punch from Tyson. Still shaking my head just thinking about it.
