How do you spell perfection?
We spell it M-A-T-T-A-L-I-A-N-O, as Philly earned his first goose egg of the year in what can only be described as a brilliant team effort all over the ice

Having lost to the Bruins earlier in the season the Flyers were out for some revenge and revenge is exactly what they got. Completely dominating the Bruins from the first puck drop to final buzzer. The Flyers outshot the Bruins 31-12.
The first period started quickly as two and a half minutes in #24Matt fired a hard snap shot that beat the goalie and put the Flyers up 1-0. The Bruins tried to get it back but the tenacious back checking and defensive zone coverage was just too much for the Bruins as they could only get 3 shots on net and at one point I swear Philly was finishing up an essay on the economical downfall due to the frivolous spending of the Canadian government.
The second period was much of the same as the Flyers weren't letting the Bruins break out of their end. The Bruins were more determined to score and doubled their shot total of the first getting 6 on net but Philly had no problems turning them away and the D did a fantastic job of cleaning up any rebounds. After a determined back check that caused the opposing player to miss the net #34Seba found himself on a 2 on 1 after a beautiful pass from #4Dylan, Seba made a sweet move on the defender and went shelf to put the Flyers up 2-0 after two periods. Shot total in the second was 8-6 Flyers.
The third period was a formality as the Flyers only seemed to get better and a minute and a half in #91Bodie got the monkey off his back as he buried his first of the year from a smart pass from #24Matt. The Flyers were determined to help Philly get the shutout and it wasn't hard to see as there was 5 players back at all times. At one point #34Seba broke out of our end and found himself on another 3 on 1 and he must of felt my boot on his butt from last week cause as he wound up to shoot and I took a breath to yell at him the defenceman slid to block the shot and Seba slid a slick pass to #13Jordan who was wide open and he passed it to #19Pazzy who just missed what would have been Sportsnet play of the night. The Bruins had about all they can handle and started to get frustrated taking two late penalties and giving us a 5on3 for a minute and a half. With complete control in their end the Flyers looked as good as the Leafs and with the second penalty about to expire #13Jordan fed a nice pass to #4Dylan who unleashed the howitzer and put the final nail in the coffin and making it 4-0, the shot total for the third was 10-3..
