AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!
On November 27th Chedoke hosted the Mount Hamilton Blues in a hard fought back and forth exchange of true Canadian Hockey. Chedoke opened up with a 2-0 lead as the offensive zone pressure seemed to be too much for the Blue's defence. Nearing the end of the first period Chedoke was called for a penalty which was killed off and dominated by the Chedoke penalty kill. The Blue's pressed hard continuing their pressure and at the end of the first period, sent a player on a clear breakaway which was turned away by the Chedoke keeper.
Chedoke had a number of opportunities in the second and third period, beating the Blues' net minder but only finding the iron. The Blues' continued to press and scored two unanswered goals to tie it up at two. The two team battled and each had opportunities but great back checking, defence and goal keeping kept the game tied at two.
Chedoke is still winless this season but are showing great development and the Coaching Staff are not concerned. "Our time will come, our game is growing and everyone is putting in 100%. With a few more bounces our way we will find numbers in the win column. I am proud of the game these kids are playing and we are getting our chances, and the puck will find the net". Coach Jeff stated in a post game interview.
Chedoke's next games are December 10/11th vs Burlington.
