Off to the Quarter Finals
For the second tournament in a row Chedoke finished top their division pushing them on to the Quarter Finals against Lawfield.
The two teams had never faced each other this season and it was bound to be an exciting game. Both teams came out tough pushing the puck into the opposing zone gaining scoring opportunities. Chedoke struck early scoring in the first minute, a feed from Hyden to Malcolm who buried the puck.
Lawfield would soon answer, tying the game at 1. Chedoke would soon find themselves trailing as Lawfield took the lead 2-1. Chedoke could not get a break as the puck seemed to be bouncing Lawfields way. Lawfield took a 3-1 lead and that would be how the season would end for Chedoke.
"I'm really proud of these boys! They showed they had what it took to compete at this level. Each and everyone had grown into the player you see before you. Great Season!" That was coach Jeff's comment after the game.
