Lui has been part of the Chedoke family for the last 10 years in various aspects of coaching in both HL and Select. He is very excited to lead a group of young athletes that he has had the luxury of watching develop over that period of time.
He is very confident that this group will exceed everyone’s expectation both on and off the ice and is looking forward to another fun year with a group of players and parents that have become his winter family.
Lui has participated in the Hockey growth of both his children. He has coached his son at Chedoke for the past 9 years and his daughter who started at Chedoke but moved to the Hamilton Hawks organization for the past 10 years. Recently he has coached his daughter's Bantam AA team but has chosen not to participate in coaching Rep hockey for his daughter's Midget year and focus on one team exclusively when the opportunity of a Minor team presented itself.
When he is away from the arena, he is an Operations manager at a large scale beef processing facility in Guelph for Cargill LTD. In his spare time he continues to actively coach other sports including baseball for the West Mountain Cougars organization. Coaching is something he wishes to continue doing as long as possible.
