Minor Midget Express, 2016/17 (Chedoke Minor Hockey)

The Minor Midget team was given the opportunity to work with the Ontario Hockey Federation and participate on ice with the Try Hockey Hamilton Program.  About 40 new comers to hockey took to the ice for the first time and our players were their mentors and teachers on the ice. I was very proud of our team for how they handled themselves with the group, all the players are were patient and had good interaction teaching kids how to stop, take slap shots, and even participating in drills, we have many future coaches within this group. Congratulations to the Minor Midget Express for there Championship victory this past weekend in Richmond Hill. The team fought hard to make it into the Finals after a rough start, the competition was strong in every game and the team had to bring there best to win and that's what they did!  Congratulations!
