Peewee Express, 2016/17 (Chedoke Minor Hockey)

Fierce Puck Battles, great goaltending and believing you can do it!. That's the recipe the Peewee Express 'Grinders' used to win the Winter Chedoke Tournament.  The 'D' did a great job of keeping the pressure on in the other team's end and stopping anyone from walking out in front of our goalie.  The Forwards worked hard and played well together all Tournament long. Add a dash of positional play and the gold medal win was complete! Wonderful way to end 2016 - Great Effort Express !

The Winter Classic is Coming! As part of our contribution to hosting the Winter Classic, each of our Peewee families is asked to take one volunteer shift over the course of the tournament. Great game tonight for the Peewee Express.  The boys played the Cambridge Hawks for the second time. The puck  battles were excellent to watch and the momentum grew for the Express as the game went on.  Late in the game the coaches pulled the goalie and the game came down to the wire.  Fabulous action-packed hockey. Final result 4-3 for Cambridge but a lot of effort all around and a much better result then the last time we faced them.
