Committed to creating a positive hockey experience for all, ALLIANCE Hockey is pleased to provide this convenient online course for hockey parents.
This 1-hour online program is designed to reinforce a parent’s role in a child’s activities, encouraging positive sport behaviours, and empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children, encourage positive and effective communication, and to enhance a child's fun and camaraderie of the activity.
One parent/guardian of each player born in 2004 or later must complete this training. Training must be completed by October 14, 2016 or we will be unable to roster your player to a team. Unrostered players may not take part in any hockey programs until the training is completed.
There is a cost of $12 plus HST to complete the course which is the parent's responsibility. One family member will become the certified parent/guardian. If interested, other family members can complete the training for free using the certified members username and password.
When a parent/guardian initially registers for the Respect in Sport – Parent Program, one of the steps requires the completion of a "Child Management Page". Please be sure you follow the instructions and list all of your children. You need only complete the training once for your entire family.
