Looking for Volunteers to help with First Shift
Chedoke Minor Hockey is looking for Volunteers to help with our First Shift Program

The Chedoke Minor Hockey League are hosting our first NHL/NHLPA First Shift Program starting in November.

We are looking for up to 7 Volunteers to assist with the following:

November 13th Welcome Event.  Event is from 6 to 8 pm and we are looking for 4 to 6 volunteers to assist with the moving and distribution of equipment to the participants.  Volunteers are asked to be at the arena for 5 pm and asked to stay until approx. 9 pm afterwards.

Weekly on-ice sessions:  Starting November 26th, the program will commence and take place on Sundays at 11:30 am on the Green Ice through to the end of the hockey season.  Volunteers will be asked to come on the ice with the participants and aid in running drills and, honestly, helping pick up the participants when they fall and provide positive reinforcement to them about the program.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Dwayne Sterling, Chedoke's Program Administrator, at [email protected].

Thank you for your assistance.  All High School Aged players who participate will be given Volunteer Hours towards your graduation.
