The 2021 Chedoke Winter Classic has been cancelled
due to an ever increasing number of cases of COVID 19 at this time, and our concern for the health and welfare of the players and families involved, the Tournament Directors regretfully announce the cancellation of the 2021 Chedoke Winter Classic

The number of cases of COVID 19 in Ontario is close to 12,000 over the last 3 days.

In addition, we were informed that 2 of the last 3 tournaments hosted in Ontario turned into major spreader events of COVID 19.

The health and welfare of the players and their families is our number one priority as tournament organizers, and we felt that we could not put the players and their families at risk of contracting COVID by hosting the event.

I want to thank the amazing members of the Tournament Committee for their countless hours of volunteering to help organize the tournament.  And especially my 'hockey wife' and tournament co-chairperson, Laura Klinger, for all your hard work in preparing for the Winter Classic.

This decision was not an easy one to make, but we feel it was the only decision based on current health conditions.

Have a happy, healthy and safe holiday season, and we will see you at the 2022 Chedoke Winter Classic.
