Commitment is the foundation of success!
Commitments can be big or small and they begin with a decision. Some decisions require careful thought whereas others come quickly.
Whatever path is taken to arrive at a decision, that decision can be the start of a commitment to follow through to the best you are able.
Commitment is present in many parts of life; relationships, education, health, finance, hobbies, work and sport.
In team sports, you not only commit yourself, but you are committing to your teammates, to show them that you care just as much about their success (i.e. the team) as your own.
In hockey, this includes:
Commit to following your team’s rules (e.g. arrival time, behaviour, communication, dress code etc.).

Commit to giving your best effort on every shift

Commit to attending for your benefit and the team’s benefit
•
Commit to giving your best effort in all drills
