Welcome back boys
After 2 games of zero effort and having our butts handed to us the Knights returned to form playing with enthusiasm heart and confidence that has been missing for far too long. When we play with that type of effort I find it hard to find a team that can beat us.
I must admit I was not as excited as I normally am during game day, I truly thought the boys cashed in the season due to the effort put forth the last 3-4 weeks not only in games but also in practice. What we needed was someone to step up and show some enthusiasm. And that person was #97 Ozzy, the smallest player by stature end up giving the best effort and forced the team to step up their games. Again Ozzy was held off the game sheet but his determination was contagious, at 1 point in the game the other wise shy and reserved Ozzy was chirping on the bench cheering his teammates on. His rushes brought back memories of Federov with his dippsy doodling through the neutral zone and behind the net. All those opportunities unfortunately led to nothing on the game sheet but you can feel a breakthrough coming on sooner than later. Agostino was asked to drop back and play D and wow what a great game he played beautiful rushes perfect timing on the pinch and getting the puck out when we were in trouble. #87 Tim was camping out in front their net and almost scored his first the year off a sweet pass from behind the net. The Knights were down 1-0 off a mental laps and gave up a shorthanded goal but #34 Seba tied it up late in the first. We went down 2-1on another shorthanded goal but battled back on the powerplay with our captain #19 Pazzy scoring late in the 2nd. Cue the heroics sound track as #28 Luke went in on a 2 on 1with Seba and used him as a decoy took the shot only to have the goalie who played incredible stop it.but Luke didn't give up on the play and from his butt tapped in the rebound to put us ahead and we never looked back. Now the hockey gods were on our side tonight as at 1 point in the third we played almost a full minute with 6 players on the ice in our own end with the reff right beside me as I'm trying to call Ozzy off without the reff realizing it. We got away with that only to have them score 30sec later but hold on the reff yells NO GOAL I didn't see anything wrong with the goal but who am I to argue score remained 3-2 and much deserved victory due to the effort put forth.

#97 Ozzy was absolutely incredible tonight when he plays with the confidence that he did tonight he will surely start popping them in the net in bunches.
