Season final
What a way to end a season with arguably the best game they played.

As head coach I should know my players strength's and weaknesses. So I take full responsibility for not realizing that I had Daniel Radulov Rillo and all his scoring prowess cooped up on "D" if I would have known he was natural 50 goal scorer he would have played forward all year and we would be celebrating super Saturday with champagne and caviar. Rilly who had a game of the ages potted 2 and tied Brendan with 36 misses, his natural position of defense was still there if you noticed on 1 rush he crossed the oppositions blue line and decided to skate backwards into there zone carrying the puck( some habits are hard to break). Cap who is our quarterback on "D" and our leader also played forward and was unbelievable on the draw going 2 for 56, and still as a forward was the first one back every time he was out there, he reminded me of the overbearing father figure (shut-up Seba) watching our regular forwards playing "D". Our veteran players stepped it up a notch with Brendan scoring 2 beauties BUT only after a few words and stick throws and board kicks were exchanged with me. Let me explain I found out early in the year that if Brendan likes you or he's laughing on the bench he plays horrible he has to be pissed off and slumping on the bench in order for him to be the Tasmanian devil that we all love to watch. And true to form he didn't pass on a 2 on 1 and I called him out on it he came to the bench ignored me next shift busts his butt gets a breakaway and scores, comes to the bench with a huge smile and that's when I grabbed his stick threw it down and said stop smiling but he couldn't and neither could I. Usual suspects played there hearts out again, Todo and Owen were just awesome together on the point Matteo was brilliant in pinching at that right times Stevie and Francis were all over the ice. Jacob played possibly his best game all year. Passie  whose was our leading scorer this year took on a different role and was stellar on D with some great breakout passes. Andrew started our game and made it easy for when Nasher took over. Both made some incredible saves and were instrumental in our win. And that brings me to Seba who I can say played his heart out setting up Rilly and almost scored 1from an obscene angle in the first. In fortunately we were missing Gavie  still with a broken foot who the team said beforehand let's win this 1 for Gavie. And Borgy who went M.I.A for the final game we missed him and wished he could of been part of it. As this is my final entry it would not be complete with the biggest and most heart felt thank you to JP, Rillo and Bruce whose help made it easy and fun to come to the rink. If everyone noticed our stats are up to date that is the doing of Steve and Patty Campbell thank you both so much for all you're help. As they say save the best for last and that of course is none other than Jane Nash whose emails team fund collection and tireless help was a godsend you've all made this year as fun as it was thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
