Medical staff has just informed me that Gavin Mills has a lower body injury
Latest report has Gavin "kitty soft paws" Mills has a lower body injury. Sunday nights game was not one of our best but one of the shining stars was "soft paws", he was a force on offense scoring one of the seasons prettiest goals but more importantly his dedication to defense has been nothing short of brilliant. Well during a barrage of offense from the Senators Gavin who h as always been team first player put his body on the line and blocked a thundering slapshot from their point man and xrays revealed he has a broken bone in his foot, to let you know the type of player he his he didn't go down instead he finished the play waited till we cleared our zone and skated off that type of heart is rarely seen even in the NHL. Soft paws who got his name from his sweet touch of the puck and beautiful passes had players asking to have him on their line. Now medical staff has said it's probably season ending hopefully they are wrong cause Soft Paws is irreplaceable both as a player and a teammate. Get well soon Gavin the Star's need you...
