For the first time this year I can honestly say I was truly disappointed, and I have no explanation for what happened
I think we took for granted that the senator's have been our whipping boys all year and besides the first meeting between us we have completely dominated them. But the sore fact is they didn't beat us we beat ourselves. In a game of such importance we decided that we would not play as a team but as individuals, 4 or 5 2 on 1's and not one pass or a decent shot lazy forchecking and zero back checking we were doomed from the start. Besides the game winner's where Andrew had no chance stopping that bar down blast every other goal was due to standing around letting g them get the rebounds. There were some positives in the game like when our leading scorer Pazzie decided not to shoot from a bad angle a fed a sweet pass to Jakob who buried the first of his professional career earning his contract bonus. Then there was Kitty Soft Paws Mills with a highlight reel goal deeking the goalie out. Last I heard Burchill put out an Amber alert on his goalies jockstrap if anybody see's it please contact the authorities due not try to approach it, it might be Stinky and loaded. There was some stellar moments from Goetzy who did his best to keep us in there.
Our MVP went to Jakob who has a flair for the dramatics scoring his first goal of his career in the playoffs well done Jake hopefully that's the first of many.
