Well as they say all good things must come to an end, but on a positive note we can do it again.
We came out strong in the first period keeping the Leafs at bay but a wayward pass and interception led to a breakaway a beauty of a goal. But the never say die attitude and hustle of Matteo led to his first of the year with a crisp one timer that would make Ovie jealous. That pumped the bench up and game on, our leader and captain Matt channelled some Bobby Orr vibes and went end to end to pot a highlight reel goal. Andrew who made his first start in 4 weeks due to a lower body injury and some R&R in Aruba held his own and settled in nicely. A cheap goal tied her up at 2 where it stayed for most of the game. Passie hit the crossbar Sebastion missed a breakaway and Brendan had 56 opportunities with no luck. We were just snake bitten but not for lack of effort and really that's all any of us can ask. The team has adopted a new motto and our living up to it. Don't Just Play Compete...
The games MVP deservingly so went to Matteo Campbell who has given nothing but his best all year and finally it paved off I have a feeling the flood gates ha e now opened for Matteo.
