COACHES MESSAGE
THANK YOU!!
What a great season!! I would first like to say thank you for giving me a season to remember. As a coach I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of players, families and coaching staff. You have all made this the season what it was. Every time we stepped on the ice I knew we had a shot at winning. Everyone put in a great effort, doing the things you did well and working on the things you lacked. Sometimes we fell short but for the most, we were in, battling for the victory. This is one of the key coaching points I made when I was interviewed for the position of Novice Head Coach, "to be in every game" and you guys delivered.
In 2016 we went 0-7-2 and in 2017 we went 9-8-3. This says a lot to the effort and dedication you guys put forth as part of the Chedoke Novice Express.
To all of you staying down in Novice next year, you have a big advantage and a big job to do. Continue to grow and develop so when you hit the ice in Atom we can pick up where we left off.
To all of you moving up to Atom, I hope all works out and I get the team so we can continue to move forward in our development and grow as a team.
Special thanks to everyone who helped me out as this made my job a lot easier and I could focus on the development of the team.
