Junior Midget Select
Welcome to the 2017/18 Chedoke Junior Midget Express team page.

My name is Mike Olechno and I am very excited to be the Head Coach for the season. I have been around Chedoke for the past 6 years in various roles including Head Coach of the Alliance Championship Minor Midgets last season.




This is a developmental team that will be having nominal practices/games and tournaments including Chedokes own Winter Classic and Alliance Championships. This team is open to 2001 and 2002 players only. 

There will be one tryout. The tryout will be held on Sunday November 19th at 12:30 at Chedoke. Registration is required before the tryout. Any player who registered for the initial tryouts for select does not need to register for this team you have already been put on the tryout list, if this is your first select tryout this year please fill out the registration form here. A fee of $10 is payable at the tryout. If you cannot attend the tryout and you would still like to be considered for this team please let me know. 

Part of the reason this team exists is because the team is operating on a smaller budget, therefore we will be sourcing one set of jerseys at a discounted cost as well as looking at reducing costs elsewhere. Additionally because this team was put together after the season as already started, we will need to source our own ice therefore not all ice times will be at Chedoke, most times will be at other arenas.
